Raghuram Rajan साल 2013 से 2016 तक Reserve bank of India (RBI) के governor रहे। 2014 में प्रधानमंत्री Narendra Modi के नेतृत्व में केंद्र में BJP की सरकार बनी। 2014 से 2016 तक जब तक Raghuram Rajan आरबीआई के गवर्नर रहे तब तक ऐसा लगा कि Narendra Modi सरकार और RBI governor के बीच युद्ध चल रहा है। Narendra Modi सरकार की ज़्यादातर महत्वकांक्षी योजनाओं पर Raghuram Rajan सहमत नहीं थे। Raghuram Rajan मोदी सरकार द्वारा GDP के कैलकुलेशन के पैमानों को बदलने पर भी नाराज़ थे। नोटबंदी को लेकर Raghuram Rajan को एतराज था इसलिए मोदी सरकार ने सितम्बर 2016 में उनका कार्यकाल आगे नहीं बढ़ाया। उनके बाद Urjit Patel आरबीआई के गवर्नर बने लेकिन मोदी सरकार की बढ़ती दखलंदाजी से परेशान होकर उन्होंने अपना कार्यकाल ख़त्म होने से पहले ही 10 दिसंबर 2018 को इस्तीफा दे दिया। पिछले तीन दशक में Urjit Patel पहले गवर्नर थे जिन्होंने अपना कार्यकाल पूरा नहीं किया। इस समय Shaktikanta Das RBI के गवर्नर हैं। Shaktikanta Das ऐसे गवर्नर हैं जो अर्थशास्त्री नहीं हैं उन्होंने हिस्ट्री में एमए कर रखी है । उनकी सबसे बड़ी योग्यता यही है कि उन्होंने वित्त सचिव रहते हुए Notebandi और GST को लागू करवाने में अहम भूमिका निभायी थी और तो और नोटबंदी के बड़े झटके के दौरान केंद्र सरकार का खुलकर बचाव भी किया था । देश के सबसे बड़े बैंक का गवर्नर अगर अर्थशास्त्री न हो तो उस देश की अर्थव्यवस्था का क्या हाल होगा यह अब दिखने लगा है। GDP के आंकड़े जोड़तोड़ करने के बाद भी पांच साल में सबसे कम 6.8% है। Automobile sector 20 वर्षों में अब तक के सबसे ख़राब दौर से गुज़र रहा है। पिछले तीन महीनों में ही auto sector में 2.50 लाख लोगों की नौकरिया जा चुकी हैं। labour survey की हाल की रिपोर्ट के मुताबिक देश में unemployment दर 6.1% है जो कि बहुत ज़्यादा है। Real Estate बर्बाद हो चुका है। Non Banking Financial Companies बाजार में पैसा डालने से कतरा रही हैं। मोदी सरकार का सपना भारत को अगले पांच साल में 5 ट्रिलियन डॉलर economy बनाने का है लेकिन जिस स्थिति में भारतीय अर्थव्यवस्था है उससे तो यह सपना चाँद तारे तोड़ने जैसा लग रहा है। हाँ, अगर प्रधानमंत्री नरेंद्र मोदी अपने पहले कार्यकाल से ही Raghuram Rajan की चेतावनियों को नज़रअंदाज़ नहीं करते तो इस समय भारत को आर्थिक मंदी का शिकार नहीं होना पड़ता। आईये आपको बताते हैं कब कब Raghuram Rajan ने मोदी सरकार को उनके फैसले पर चेताया और अब उन फैसलों का क्या नतीजा निकला? शुरुआत करते हैं प्रधानमंत्री मोदी की सबसे महत्वकांक्षी योजना Make in India से। #RaghuramRajan #IndianEconomy #RBI
